One of his larger commitments is San Luis Obispo Sheriff Search and Rescue Team. After two years of hard work, literally blood, sweat and tears Kevin Jones has made full member of SLOSAR, which is short for San Luis Obispo Search and Rescue. ”It is with great honor I wear this uniform” says Kevin Jones, it is not something that is handed out, it is rightfully earned. Being proficient enough to lead teams into areas many times unknown and have that ability to oversee and protect his team and properly conduct a search for someone in need. Search and Rescue is a volunteer service that each member must provide your own gear and be on call 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, rain or shine, Search and Rescue doesn’t care, if there is someone in need, we come to the rescue.
