Arroyo Grande Statistics January through June 2013.  Realty Professionals 805-473-0300.  In the first six months of 2013 for Arroyo Grande, California there were 53 Active Listings with an average days on the market of 147.  Properties that are in the Contingency phase meaning in escrow but still within their inspection periods are 7 with a average days on market of 150. The Pending listings meaning that they are in escrow but have passed their contingency or inspection time frames are 25 with an average days on market of 58.  The sold properties are at 143 houses sold with an average days on market of 62 with an average sales price of $536,041 and a median price of $475,000.  So what is the difference between average and median?  The average is obtained by adding the numbers up and dividing them by the amount added, where as the median is the middle priced property.  The neighboring cities are Pismo Beach, Grover Beach, Shell Beach, Oceano, San Luis Obispo, Los Osos and Morro Bay.
