The local school district for the Five Cities ( Pismo Beach, Shell Beach, Grover Beach, Oceano and Arroyo Grande ) is the Lucia Mar School District . There is just one High School so all the children all converge at Arroyo Grande High School at the end which is great! My daughter had the opportunity to attend Arroyo Grande High School and we had a great experience with the school, staff and their sports programs appear to be top notch, the Football team won CIF the year my daughter graduated!

Moving here from Southern California, the first thing we noticed was that the schools were not fenced in like a Prison as they are down south. The People here are much friendlier and the general feeling you get is that people are just plain nice here. I am proud to call the central Coast home!
